The flaw detector is used for non-destructive material testing. With adjustable frequencies between 0.5 … 20 MHz and sound velocities between 1000 … 15000 m/s, measurements can be carried out in steel in the range between 0 … 10000 mm. DAC and AVG evaluation methods, display and probe delay, attenuation and amplification functions, export and report generation functions as well as numerous other setting options make non-destructive material testing with the flaw detector considerably easier.

  • Test range: 0 … 10000 mm
  • Pulse shift: -20 … +3400 µs
  • Single or dual probe measurement
  • AVG and DAC evaluation methods
  • Speed of sound 1000 … 15000 m/s
  • USB interface and software
  • Memory for up to 100 data records

Analysing the movement of rotating machines is quick and easy with our Flaw Detector. The Flaw Detector is equipped with 3 high-power UVA LEDs, which together generate a light intensity of 317 μW/cm² at a distance of 30 cm. The stroboscope allows you to set the flash frequency in both FPM and Hz and it is small and handy in pocket size and also mains-independent thanks to the rechargeable battery.

  • 3 high-power UVA LEDs
  • light colour: 380 ... 390 nm
  • flash frequency 60 ... 300000 FPM (flashes per minute)
  • accuracy: 0.003 %
  • digital pulse width modulation
  • phase shift: -360 ° ... +360 °
  • quick setting using x2 and ÷2 key
  • intuitive control keys and clear display

PCE-FD 20 is a portable ultrasonic flaw detector with a large LCD screen that displays A-scan maps of ultrasonic signals as well as B-scan cross sections. Ideal for use in mechanical engineering, aerospace and metallurgical applications, this high-frequency ultrasound-based flaw detector uses a contact transducer (two different probes included; 45° and 90°) to measure material thickness and identify flaws and defects such as discontinuity in welds.

  • Operating frequency range: 1 … 10 MHz
  • Measured time interval range: 6 … 1000 microseconds (µs)
  • Sound velocity: 1000 … 9999 m/s
