Camera
The industrial endoscope PCE-VE 1500-60200 is equipped with a frontally aligned camera. An LED is installed next to the camera lens for additional illumination of the field of view. In order to optimally illuminate the targeted area, the intensity of the light source can be adjusted in 6 steps at the push of a button. With the focus distance of 10 to 100 mm and the very large angle of view of 120 degrees, many situations can be captured optically well. For the objects located in the focus area, the endoscope camera provides clear and detailed images with the appropriate brightness. In order to be able to examine further areas, the camera cable can be moved further, retracted or rotated. In addition, the separately movable 60 mm long camera head can be bent in the desired direction with the aid of a joystick and motor.

Touchscreen
The 7-inch monitor of the endoscope camera has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It can be used not only to display the current camera view and the stored videos and images. As an easy-to-use touch screen, it offers many additional functions. For example, the image displayed by the industrial endoscope can be digitally enlarged up to eight times by double-tapping the image on the touchscreen or pulling it apart with two fingers.

The icons on the side edges of the touchscreen can be used to conveniently start and stop functions. Among other things, the displayed image can be rotated or mirrored simply by tapping an icon, making it easier to evaluate or assign the image contents. Changes to the endoscope camera settings and text entries to explain the images can also be easily made on this industrial endoscope using the touchscreen.

Endoscope cable
The endoscope camera cable connected to the motor unit is also only 6 mm in diameter in the camera area and is about 1.85 m long. The controllable camera head is 60 mm long and requires a radius of 50 mm to change the viewing direction by 90 degrees. The connection of the camera unit to the handheld unit can be easily and securely locked and released. The cable sheathing is made of braided tungsten, the camera head of a particularly resistant titanium alloy.

Handling
The industrial endoscope is very easy to operate thanks to the touch screen, joystick and function keys in the upper area of the handle. The handle fits securely and comfortably in the hand, which can also be used to hold the joystick, the image trigger and almost all function keys. The joystick located between the keys can be operated comfortably with one finger. Depending on the situation on site, the supplied shoulder strap, a tripod or the magnetic holder can be used for longer periods of use.

Menu functions
The endoscope camera's symbols for keys and icons make it possible to use many additional functions intuitively after only a short time. For example, the picture-in-picture function can be used to compare the current live image with the stored image. The live image can be displayed either as a displayed section or as a large background image. Other functions allow the images to be overlaid with a grid and different coloured text and markers to be inserted. This industry endoscope also has a report menu. In the report, which is saved as a PDF document, selected images can be arranged and explained with captions. The user can choose from various keyboard types for text input, which are operated in the same way as on a smartphone.

Images and videos
The endoscope camera saves images as JPG and videos in MP4 format. To take a picture, simply press the shutter button on the handle or tap the icon on the touchscreen. The images can be stored in the internal memory or saved directly to SD card or USB stick. The special functions of the industrial endoscope can be used to mark and annotate any points on the saved images directly after they have been taken. Inserted correct time and date stamps and clear component designations also facilitate the correct assignment later.

Power supply:
The industrial endoscope is supplied as standard with two rechargeable batteries and a power supply unit. The batteries can be easily replaced and, if necessary, charged during the use. The batteries are equipped with a USB C interface for charging. With a capacity of 6,400 mAh, one battery charge is sufficient for more than 3 hours of operation. The current charge status is displayed directly on the battery when the endoscope camera is switched on.
