Gasman-H2S Unique Air Quality Meter
personal protection with datalogger / Optional software and data cable ATEX II 1G EEx ia IIC T4 / ATEX II 2G EEx ia d IIC T4 (EEx ia (d) IIC T3/T4)
This Air Quality Meter is a unique gas meter which protects against a specific gas, inflammable or toxic. The Air Quality Meter Gasman warns with a penetrating alarm and an optical signal (useful when there are loud noises in the surrounding area) of the existence of dangerous gas concentrations and shows on screen the value of the gas measurement. In addition with this gas meter you are able to save measurements and transmit them onto the computer for evaluation. For that, it is necessary to require the additional option of data logger and optional software. The function of logger will allow you to keep all the values in the meter with a quota of measurement from 1 minute to a total of 900 hours. The data saved in the apparatus can be, at any time, transferred onto the computer or laptop for later evaluation. The Air Quality Meter can be calibrated and certified according to DIN ISO.
In addition it is verified according to the most recent directives (94/9/EG) and disposition on the protection against explosions (ExVo). Every two years recalibrations can be made where you choose the sensor (according to the type of gas) with which the apparatus must be equipped. You will be able to choose between 12 standard sensors, but you can also request other types of special sensors. In addition to the traditional uses of the Air Quality Meter such as in industry, institutions and investigations, this gas meter is an economic alternative to be used by the fire brigades (with Ex- sensor for inflammable gases). The Air Quality Meter fulfills all the European and international norms, even ATEX and UL standards. Another special use is the measurement of the ozone concentration, allowing this small Air Quality Meter to be complemented with an ozone sensor. You can send us the Air Quality Meter for maintenance and recalibration, taking into account the indications of the ISO manual of your company (for example, twice a year). The Air Quality Meter can be dismounted, cleaned, and recalibrated. If a sensor can no longer be calibrated or its period of validity has already expired, you will receive the corresponding information and spare sensors can be found in our online shop. You can request the optional software to set up, calibrate, and adjust the limits of the alarm and the function of the datalogger (also optional) to read the values saved in the Air Quality Meter. This software represents the data in the form of graphs or tables and it is also possible to export them to other programs.
Notice: The combined charging station serves as interface for the data transmission, the station is used to load the storage cells of the meter of gas for “inflammable gases” + “oxygen” and of interface for the PC for the rest of the models.

PC interface | Standard software is available as an accessory for configuration and calibration as well as for setting the alarm limits and, with the data logger function, for reading out all the values stored in the gas detector. This software displays the data graphically or in tabular form. It can be exported to other programs. Please note: |
Maintenance and recalibration | You can send the gas detector (depending on the specifications in your ISO manual) to us for maintenance and calibration (e.g. every six months). The gas detector is then disassembled, cleaned and recalibrated. If a sensor can no longer be calibrated or its service life has expired, you will first be informed. Replacement sensors are also available. This gas detector is ATEX approved. |
This gas detector is ATEX approved. What does that mean? The ATEX product directive (also unofficially referred to as "ATEX 95" because of the relevant Art. 95 of the EC Treaty on the free movement of goods) of the European Parliament and of the Council to harmonize the legal provisions of the member states for a gas detector or protective system for intended use in potentially explosive atmospheres areas sets the rules for placing products on the market that are used in these areas. In Annex II, the guideline contains the basic health and safety requirements that the manufacturer must observe and then verify them by means of a corresponding conformity assessment procedure. Our gas detector meets all current EU standards. |
