Panel Indicator

A panel indicator is used in control and regulation technology to display measured values or states. In the simplest case, the panel indicator shows the temperature measured by a temperature sensor. The panel indicator is available in different versions. Depending on the model, the panel indicator can measure temperatures, standard signals (0 ... 10 V / 0/4 ... 20 mA), pulse signals, mains voltages, etc. The display of the measured value on the panel indicator is usually on an LED display.

On some of the panel indicators, the colour of the display can be changed by the panel indicator depending on the measured value. So a change between red-orange-green is possible. This facilitates the quick reading of the panel indicator. The panel indicator can often be adjusted by a programming adapter or attached buttons. The panel indicator is installed in a control panel. By additionally installable switching relays or switching transistors, the panel indicator can take over simple control or alarm tasks.
