Description

Salt Water Swimming Pool pH Meter Kit / Turbidity meter / Conductivity meter / Easy operation of various parameters

A neutral pH value is a basic requirement for good water quality in swimming pools and pools. If the pH value of the water is incorrect, this can lead to skin and eye irritation, among other things. Regular checks of the pool water for its pH value are therefore essential. This is particularly easy, precise and convenient with the user-friendly pool pH meter from PCE Instruments, which is suitable for use in swimming pools and pools. Failure to regularly check the pH value with the pool pH meter can damage fittings and other metallic materials. An inadequate pH value also has an impaired effect of the pool chemicals.

Using the pool pH meter makes determining the pH value particularly easy. In order to carry out a measurement with the pool pH meter, the protective cap of the electrode must first be removed. Pool pH meter in use.The electrode can be cleaned quickly and thoroughly. After cleaning the electrode with a pH-neutral liquid, the pool pH meter is immediately ready for use. The pool pH meter can be activated quickly and easily at the push of a button. Now the electrode can be immersed in the pool water. Within a few seconds, the display of the pool pH meter shows the measurement results clearly legible. The practical data hold function of the pool pH meter enables the measured values to be saved. To freeze the measured value, a single push of the “Hold” button is sufficient. The manufacturer recommends cleaning the electrode of the pool pH meter with a pH-neutral liquid after each measurement. Alternative electrodes can also be connected to the pool pH meter using the BNC connector. Thanks to the ease of use, the pH meter can be easily adjusted to another electrode.

In order to ensure long-term precise measurement results, the pool pH meter should be adjusted or calibrated at regular intervals. The pool pH meter can be adjusted manually at any time without great effort. It is sufficient to immerse the measuring electrode of the pool pH meter in a pH 7 solution. When the value has stabilized, the correct measured value can be set using the calibration screw on the top of the display using the screwdriver supplied. The user can check the result himself using other calibration solutions (e.g. pH 4 and pH 10).

Applications pool pH meter

The pool pH meter is the ideal measuring instrument for every swimming pool owner who values optimal water quality. The pool pH meter for monitoring swimming pool water.Unstable pH levels can unbalance pool water, cause skin and eye irritation, damage fittings and affect the way pool chemicals work. The pool pH meter from PCE Instruments combines ease of use and reliability with a compact design. The battery-operated pool pH meter is small, handy and robust and therefore ideally suited for mobile use. Thanks to its properties and easy handling, the pool pH meter is also suitable for inexperienced users. The pool pH meter guarantees maximum reliability and precise measurement results.

Equipment
Since pH electrodes can drift over time, measurement errors may occur. To ensure high measurement accuracy, the pool pH meter should be recalibrated regularly with the calibration solution available from PCE Instruments (pH 4.01 and pH 7.01). In addition to the pH meter, PCE Instruments offers the CAL-PCE-PH ISO calibration certificate for pH meters. Calibration certificates are issued specifically for customers; the annual recalibration can also be carried out at PCE Instruments. The measurement accuracy of the pH tester can be verified and documented with the calibration certificate. For optimal cleaning of the pool pH meter, the cleaning solution pepsin / hydrochloric acid PCE-GCS-500 (500ml) is also available from PCE Instruments. The electrode should be cleaned regularly with the cleaning solution, ideally after each use, in order to permanently avoid contamination and the measurement inaccuracies caused by it.

Portable turbidity meter according to ISO 7027 (with two automatically switching measuring ranges from 0 ... 50 NTU and 50 ... 1000 NTU) The PCE-TUM 20 turbidity meter is a handy meter with a large display that meets all the requirements for on-site turbidity measurement. The measuring range from 0… 1000 NTU is divided into two automatically changing ranges to increase the accuracy. The PCE-TUM 20 turbidity meter is very easy to use with the clearly laid out keyboard. An LED is used as the light source, which works with a wavelength of 830 nm in the infrared range of light and is therefore invisible to the human eye.

Since the measurement is carried out in the non-visible area, any coloring of the sample plays only a very minor role in the measurement. By arranging the photodiodes at 180° and 90° angles, the transmitted light measurement is used for the high measuring range and the scattered light measurement is used for the low range. With the calibration standards of 0 NTU and 100 NTU included in the scope of delivery, you can calibrate and readjust the turbidity meter PCE-TUM 20 at any time. The PCE-TUM 20 turbidity meter meets all the standards required by EN 27027 / ISO 7027.

Conductivity meter
Tester for EC and TDS (sum of dissolved salts or solids)
The conductivity tester PCE-CM 41 offers the possibility to measure the conductivity value, the sum of all dissolved solids or salts (TDS / Total Dissolved Solids) and the temperature. This conductivity tester can be easily carried in your pocket. The waterproof housing optimally protects the tester's electronics (also against dust). The EC u. TDS conductivity measurement is of course automatically temperature compensated. The field of application of the conductivity tester is wide-spread across all industries, fish farming, horticulture and many other areas.
