The counting scale of the PCE-TB C series is a real professional aid for all counting tasks. The counting scales have an internal data memory for up to 1,000 items that can easily be stored e.g. they can be retrieved with a scanner. The article data that can be saved in the counting scale are: article description, scanner code, piece weight, permissible weight deviations MIN / MAX and the weight of the packaging (TARE). Using the counting scale with the possible information is very easy.
For this purpose, the data is created in spreadsheet-like software and transferred to the internal memory of the counting scale. Furthermore, the counting scales can transfer the counts carried out to a PC or optionally available USB memory stick. But even without the internal memory, the counting scale is a professional helper. If, for example, a barcode is not available in the data memory, the user is informed about this and still has the option to carry out further weighings / counts under the barcode and, if necessary, to save or transfer them to the PC. The inventory / counting carried out in this way saves a lot of reworking time and excludes transmission errors.
Despite the many keys, data maintenance on the professional counting scale is very easy. This can be done on the PC in the form of a table. Create a table e.g. in EXCEL, where the data: storage space, item description, barcode, piece weight, target weight, deviation tolerances (min. - max.) and tare weight are stored, these are saved as a CSV file. Perhaps this can also be done from your company's inventory management system. Then simply hand it over to the professional counting scales using the free software included in the scope of delivery. After the data has been successfully transferred, the articles can be accessed quickly and easily. This can be done using the direct selection buttons on the professional counting scales or with the help of an optionally available scanner.
Depending on the configuration of the professional counting scale, the data can be saved automatically as a TXT file directly in the PC or on a USB stick. The data can be composed of the user, article number, time, date and quantity. The data import of a TXT file into Excel is then very easy and enables a simple calculation of the count carried out. In the professional counting scales, unsaved products can also be counted and saved with the desired information, an article database maintenance is not necessary. This means that the professional counting scales can be used in most areas of application.
