Process clamp meter with 1 m (3.3 ft) cable / measurement range ±99.9 mA DC / manual zero point /
battery life of approx. 40 hours / automatic power off / clamp opening Ø 5 mm /
accuracy of ±0.3% of rdg.
The process clamp meter has a measurement range of ±99.9 mA DC. With an accuracy of 0.3% of rdg. +8 digits, the process clamp meter is a particularly accurate measuring instrument. In order to conveniently perform measurements with the process clamp meter, the current clamp itself is connected to a 1 meter / 3.3 ft cable. The current clamp can thus be attached to the cable to be measured. The process clamp meter can be conveniently placed aside at the workplace. This leaves both hands free while reading the measured values, for example to carry out adjustments or configurations on the process technology. Due to the high accuracy and the external sensor, the process clamp meter is ideally suited to make quick and reliable current measurements when process signals are involved.
In order to carry out a current measurement, the current clamp of the process clamp meter must be clamped around the cable to be checked. This allows the process clamp meter to measure the flowing current inductively. This has the particular advantage that a current measurement can be carried out during operation with the process clamp meter.
For improved visibility, the process clamp meter is equipped with an LED. With the LED of the process clamp meter, the measuring spot can be ideally illuminated.
