Includes waterproof, semi-flexible, 28 mm / 1.1 in diameter, 10 m / 32.8 ft long camera cable and SD card memory for saving pictures and videos
PCE-VE 390N is the ideal downhole inspection camera for the evaluation of homes and buildings (walls, supports, eaves, gutters, attics, crawl spaces), plumbing (pipes, drains, sewers, wells) and heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) systems (ducts, furnaces, chimneys, boiler and condenser tubes). The IP68-rated cable of this chimney and drain camera is waterproof and heavy duty, making the PCE-VE 390N well suited for use in harsh environments like construction sites, manholes and industrial waste pipes.
This user-friendly inspection camera (often referred to as a videoscope, endoscope or borescope) features a handheld monitor that allows you to gain valuable visual insight into the inner workings of machines and other hard-to-reach places. Images and videos can be stored directly on the included SD card memory.

Facilitation of the maintenance and control tasks is a very desirable result that many strive for. Nowadays, it pretty much depends on the equipment that the professionals use. Inspection of the drains and chimneys is one of those challenging tasks that cannot be easily performed by the person manually. Inspection camera for drains and chimneys makes the impossible quite realistic and feasible. Inspection of easy-to-reach places, especially when it goes about HVAC systems, piping, chimneys must be regular and not just occasional. Preventive checks are carried out in the process of construction and during the operation. The list of strict regulations is compulsory and deviations from the norms require urgent repair. Chimney camera applied for surveillance in the places that the human eye cannot see presents a clear, in the direct meaning of the word, picture of what is going on inside and whether the pipe or duct is fully suitable for use. Combustion products spread in excessive amounts in the houses, rooms and habitational premises in the result of clogging of the HVAC systems or problems with the chimney are dangerous, and the complete exhaustion from any kind of appliances (stoves, heaters, fireplaces etc) must be ensured. Insertion of the robust, but flexible camera into the chimney may answer many questions regarding the condition of the chimney as well as whether the latter has been constructed in compliance with the regulations. To evaluate the condition of the chimney there are many points to pay attention to: for example, the presence of the sufficient thermal insulation, thickness of the walls, presence of the ledges, clogs, the length of the chimney distance to the roof of the building, sufficient air draft, protection from precipitation, visible and invisible cracks, level of cleanness of the channel and many others. Only application of the modern chimney inspection camera may give a reliable help in answering them quickly. The possibility to view the images taken by the camera inside improve the quality of the check and may be used as a confirmation of the final conclusion after the inspection.
Thus, chimney camera turns out to be handy in absolutely different situations: at the stage of the construction, regular maintenance and preventive checks, approval of the chimneys that have not been in use over longer time periods or even in the situation after fires when it is not clear how much damage the systems, like HVAC or chimneys, underwent. No matter what the application may be, by using the chimney and drain camera, one may save a lot of time and significantly increase the performance and improve the quality of the checks.
