Inspection Camera / Chimney Camera with 20 m (66 ft) push cable / Waterproof up to 20 m (66 ft) / Meter count / Keyboard input for comments possible / SD memory
Damage inside fireplaces and chimneys can have costly consequences for the building owners. In order to avoid unnecessary costs, a regular check of the chimney systems makes sense. The chimney camera from PCE Instruments was developed specifically to control chimney systems. The essential gas-carrying components of a chimney system can be checked with the chimney camera particularly conveniently and reliably.
During an optical examination, the chimney camera quickly and effectively detects defects in construction and materials, bottlenecks and damage. For this purpose, the fireplace camera is equipped with a 23-millimetre camera head, which is attached to a 40-meter long fiberglass push cable. The fireplace camera is also water-resistant up to 20 meters and is ideally suited for pipes with a nominal pipe diameter of DN40 and therefore also for other applications in the area of sewage pipes. To make it easier to find damage and defects, the fireplace camera has an electronic meter counter. With the help of the meter counter, the location of the damage can be precisely determined. In order to precisely illuminate the surroundings and pinpoint the defect, the manufacturer has equipped the fireplace camera with an LED lighting. If necessary, the user can manually dim the lighting during the application. Via the seven-inch LC display of the chimney camera, the condition of the fireplace or chimney can be examined in real time and an initial analysis can be carried out. Also, with the chimney camera, both videos with sound recording as well as pictures can be taken. The fireplace camera saves the recorded pictures and videos on an SD memory card. For better documentation, the comments can be added to the recordings via the keyboard of the fireplace camera, such as the location where a check was carried out or an indication of abnormalities to be checked in the recorded videos and images. Due to a multilingual (German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese and Russian) menu navigation, the fireplace camera is easy to use even in an international environment.
The fireplace camera is supplied in a robust, waterproof case (IP66) and can be easily transported in this way. The 13 kg total weight is easy to handle due to the compactness. The case is attached directly to the cable reel of the fireplace camera so that the device can be transported in the most space-saving way. In order to ensure flexible and mobile use for the user, the fireplace camera has a battery. The chimney camera thus provides the possibility to check the systems at any location, regardless of a local power supply. The battery of the fireplace camera can be recharged, if necessary, via a power supply unit and the car charger.
The chimney camera is the ideal auxiliary tool for chimney sweeps, technicians, service employees and experts who routinely check the fireplaces and chimney systems or are specifically looking for damaged areas. The fireplace camera impresses with its simple operation, maximum reliability, precision and user-friendliness. Due to the compact design and self-sufficient power supply as well as the robust IP66 carrying case, the fireplace camera can be used outdoors, on construction sites, for repairs, checks and maintenance work.
When checking the combustion air systems, the chimney camera detects the defects in arches, branches, in shafts and connecting elements even before commissioning. Even old or unused fireplace connections can be easily and effectively inspected with the fireplace camera. Visual inspection of chimneys, fireplaces and flue pipes is a quick and inexpensive way to check the condition of the corresponding systems immediately after installation and regularly during the operation. In such a way during the whole operating time, the errors can be quickly identified and thus, cost-intensive repairs can be avoided from the very beginning. The fireplace camera is therefore ideal for reliable instant analyses. The fireplace camera is versatile and easy to use. Thanks to the handy and robust design and the battery operation, the fireplace camera can be used anytime and anywhere.
In addition to the fireplace camera, PCE Instruments offers the PCE-VE-LOC receiver for video endoscopes. With the practical handheld device, the location of the damage can be precisely determined up to a test depth of 1.8 meters. This is useful, for example, if the endoscope camera is used in the area of sewage systems or drainage. Due to its properties and accessories, the fireplace camera can also be used in other areas. This generally includes inspections in pipe systems, channels, drainage and wherever cavities or hard-to-reach areas have to be checked.
The inspection camera of the PCE-PIC series is an ideal tool for any service technician who needs to visually inspect pipes and ducts. The inspection camera has a 23 mm / 0.9 in camera head, which is attached to a fiberglass push cable. The inspection camera is optimally suited for pipes and ducts DN 40 ... 150 mm / 1.6 ... 5.9 in. The camera of the inspection camera is waterproof up to 20 m / 66 ft. To facilitate the search for damaged areas on canals and pipes, the inspection camera has an electronic meter counter. Recorded pictures and videos can be saved on an SD memory card via the inspection camera. For better documentation, comments can be added to the pictures and videos via the keyboard.
The inspection camera is delivered in a waterproof case. The case of the inspection camera is mounted directly on the cable scooter. Thus, the inspection camera takes up little space during transport. The inspection camera PCE-PIC is equipped with a rechargeable battery, which enables a mobile working. About a power supply or the car charger, the battery of the inspection camera is charged.
