The Flaw Detector was developed to simplify on-site troubleshooting in both industrial systems and solar systems. The test voltage can be variably selected from 250 V, 500 V, 1000 V, 2000 V and 2500 V. It can also measure AC and DC voltages from 10 ... 600 V. The Flaw Detector has a memory for 100 data records which can be called up via the LC display. In addition to the data hold function, the Flaw Detector offers the option of measuring the polarisation index (PI) and the dielectric absorption ratio (DAR). These functions are particularly useful for condition monitoring and maintenance of electrical insulation, as they help to detect potential problems at an early stage and extend the service life of the equipment. A high-voltage indicator ensures safety during operation and a low-battery indicator indicates in good time that the battery needs to be replaced.
The device is particularly suitable for measuring insulation resistance on various electrical devices and insulating materials such as motors, cables, switches and other electrical components, making it ideal for maintenance, repair and testing work.
