The pH electrode is characterized by a low impedance, a short stabilization time and good linearity at the ends of the measuring range. The electrolyte solution in the pH electrode is a 3 M KCl solution that can be refilled. The pH electrode is equipped with a round glass membrane. The ceramic electrolytic diaphragm (junction) is located above the membrane. The BNC connector allows connection to most available pH meters.
To keep the pH electrode permanently activated, it is provided with a container filled with 3 M KCl, which should be removed before measurements. This solution extends the life of the pH electrode. A special sealing ring protects the pH electrode from electrolyte leakage.
