Our Laboratory Balances is the special device for temperature-insensitive materials with a maximum drying temperature of up to 360 °C. It is ideal for applications in raw material extraction, production, processing, research and recycling, as well as especially for building materials such as cement, concrete and gravel and the chemical industry, including powders, granulates and pastes. With a maximum sample weight of 220 g and a high measuring resolution of 0.001 g, it enables precise moisture measurement.
The operating principle is based on drying with simultaneous weighing, whereby the weight loss is continuously recorded and displayed as a percentage of the total mass. With an emitter output of 375 W and an adjustable heating temperature of 105 °C to 360 °C, the moisture analyser ensures fast, precise drying, even with challenging materials. Parameters such as % moisture, % dry matter, % moisture ATRO as well as g residual weight / kg and residual weight are available for the measurement evaluation, allowing the sample to be analysed in detail.
An automatic switch-off function stops the drying process automatically when the constant weight is reached. The automatic switch-off can be controlled via three adjustable criteria: Interrogation start, interrogation interval and weight loss per interrogation interval, allowing flexible and precise control of the process. The Laboratory Balances also has a timer that can be set from 1 to 180 minutes. The menu lock protects against accidental adjustment of the parameters and can be secured by PIN, whereby the calibration mode (CAL) remains accessible. The moisture analyser also has a programme memory with up to 9 memory locations to store and quickly call up different drying profiles.
The Laboratory Balances offers GLP-compliant output of all data via the Data Bridge software. Intermediate values can be printed at individually adjustable intervals if required. In addition, all data is transferred via the serial RS-232 interface and USB. The printer can be deactivated if required. Data can be transferred to a PC via software, which must be purchased separately. The scale also has a 4-digit device ID for unique identification of the device, which enables precise allocation of the measurement data.
With its robust design and ability to reach high drying temperatures, the Laboratory Balances is a reliable device for moisture determination and process control in various industrial and scientific applications.
