Precision Balance PCE-ABI 220 incl. Calibration
Precision balance from the class I analysis area / Weighing range:
max. 220 g / Resolution: 0.1 mg (0.0001 g) / Calibrated / calibration value: 1 mg (0.001 g) / Graphical display /
Multilingual menu navigation / USB and RS-232 interface.
The precision balance PCE-ABI 220 is a calibratable scale that is already
calibrated upon delivery. In calibrated form, this precision balance is used
in areas that require verification, e.g. in the pharmacy.
Universities, colleges and many other laboratories appreciate the advantages
of the internal automatic adjustment and use the PCE-ABI 220 precision
balance in calibrated form. In the case of a calibrated precision balance,
proof of accuracy is provided by a calibration certificate. In contrast to a
verification certificate, a calibration certificate shows the actual
setpoint / actual value comparison and is therefore more meaningful than a
verification certificate.
The precision balance has a die-cast aluminum housing and a glass draft
shield that can be opened through three sliding doors. The weighing area is
designed with a stainless steel plate which can be easily removed for
cleaning. The weighing plate of the precision balance has a support surface
of Ø90 mm.
The precision balance uses a graphic display which enables the menu and
function guidance in various national languages.
Useful functions of the precision balance are e.g. percentage weighing, tare
memory, input of user ID and product ID, MIN-MAX-OK weighing, summing
function, statistics function, area weight function, recipe function, animal
weighing function, piece counting, etc. These precision scales ensure quick
and easy operation, even of more complicated functions.
The standard of the precision balance includes a USB, RS232 and PS2
interface. This allows the measurement data to be transferred to the PC or
printer. Special features are the internally installed time-date module for
creating GLP printouts, as well as the EPL printer language for
bidirectional communication with e.g. ZEBRA label printers. With an optional
additional device, the weighing data can be saved directly on a USB stick as
a TXT file with a time/date stamp.
