The digital panel indicator is used for processing signals from Pt100 temperature sensors or thermocouples (type J, K). The measurement results are shown on the large 5-digit LED-display of the panel meter. Depending on the actual values, the temperature can be shown in three different colours, which makes it easier to evaluate them.
The panel indicator can also output signals via its two open collector outputs, when a threshold value is exceeded. This allows the usage of external alarm systems in combination with the panel meter. The threshold values and other konfiguration settings can be set by using the free software LPCon and the optional PCE-PD 14 programming adapter. The panel meter is available with different measuring units, inputs and power supplies. You can select the particular parameters further below.

The PCE-PD14 programming adaptor is used for setting up digital indicators from PCE Instruments. Therefore, the PCE-PD 14 has an USB interface for connecting it to a PC and a cable with a modular jack for the connection to the digital indicator. By using the free PC software LPCon, you can adjust settings and set up threshold values for the alarm outputs.
