The luminometer with 200 swabs included is used to quickly and easily check the cleanliness of surfaces and water. The luminometer displays a measurement result on the large LC display after only 10 seconds. Up to 10,000 measurement data sets with time and date can be stored on the internal memory of the luminometer.
The luminometer with the associated PCE-ATP Surface Swab Pens, allows a quick detection of food or microbiological residues on all surfaces in contact with the product as an effectiveness test of cleaning and disinfection measures. Quantitative determination of intracellular and extracellular adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is performed in the portable luminometer.
The measured data from the luminometer can be stored and further processed after the measurement. The luminometer is used in the hygiene control in pharmacy, medicine, gastronomy, wholesalers and more.
The measurements with the Luminometer are carried out with the specially available ATP test tubes. With the swab contained in the tube, the surface is sampled. The swab is then pressed all the way down into the tube, whereby it comes into contact with the reaction liquid and the actual reagent. By gentle shaking, the reaction liquid collects in the reaction chamber of the tube. The entire test tube is then inserted into the measuring chamber of the ATP Testing Meter. Then the measurement is started. After 10 seconds, the measurement result is displayed in RLU (Relative Light Units) on the display of the luminometer.
The luminometer can be used in different business branches. Thus, the luminometer enables complete control and documentation in the food industry. This can be in the control of cleanliness in a large kitchen or in the processing of food in large industrial enterprises. The luminometer helps to implement the HACCP concept.
In addition to the application in the food industry, the hygiene tester can also be used by cleaning companies to provide evidence of cleaning services. The memory of the ATP Testing Meter documents the time of the measurement with date and time. Furthermore, different users can be added to differentiate the measurement data.
In addition, the ATP Testing Meter finds its application in the field of health care. Wherever the cleanest surfaces and sterility are required, the luminometer can be used to quickly control cleanliness.
